In his latest collaboration, Filipino toy designer Quiccs will be working with Philippine telecommunications giant Smart Communications, Inc. for a limited edition run of his popular TEQ63 figure, the TEQ5G.
The 6-inch vinyl figure will sport a black and green colorway as well as the telco’s logo.
The TEQ5G will be raffled off exclusively to new and existing subscribers of selected Smart Signature 5G plans. In order to join, eligible subscribers must upload a screenshot of an internet speed test result done via speedtest.net or the Speedtest by Ookla app (available for both iOS and Android devices) to smrt.ph/Quiccs5G.
Entries are accepted from September 10 to 30, 2021. The raffle draw will be held on the second week of October.
Some of Quiccs’s recent collaborations were with global sports and lifestyle brand Adidas, most notably the Manila Heritage colorway of James Harden‘s signature shoe, the Harden Vol. 5, as well as with Singaporean furniture company Secret Labs with the Quiccs Edition of their gaming chairs.
Quiccs also had previous releases of his toys from local collaborations, including the BrickTEQ (with the Pinoy LEGO Users Group or PinoyLUG), the TEQ Knight (with the Batman-focused group The Dark Knight Philippines), and an exclusive of the Nano Zeta (with Funko collector’s group, Pop ‘Til You Drop!).
In December of last year, the Magis TEQ63 was released in the Ateneo Magis 2020 Grand Alumni Homecoming. Quiccs is a graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University.
